Letter of resignation from Dr Brudenell Carter, Consulting Ophthalmic Surgeon

Dear Mr Burford Rawlings,

In reply to your note I inclose cheque for my subscription to the National Hospital, for which I had expected the Collector to call.

Kindly note that it is not my intention to continue this subscription, and also be good enough to receive my resignation of the post of Ophthalmic Surgeon to the Hospital.
